The Mission of Wood Badge
The mission of Wood Badge is to inspire and train adults to achieve the mission and aims of the BSA through premier leadership training that sets the example for youth empowerment to impact the world.
The Wood Badge course is a two weekend outdoor training:
January 11-13, 2025 at Camp Ho Non Wah (plan on 3 full days of training).
February 8-9, 2025 at Camp Ho Non Wah.
Cost is $275 Covers program and training materials, all food, and Wood Badge presentation kit (upon completion of training program) Early Bird $225. if paid by May 1st.
Course Objectives
Service and Leadership for Scouting Service and Leadership for America
- Examine your own leadership skills by recognizing your own strengths.
- Practice and improve your leadership
- Communicate effectively and build relationships and teams.
- Guide youth and other adults in the development of their leadership skills.
- Strengthen your commitment living and teaching the Scout Oath and Law.
